"Finding Fanny", an English language film with a cast of desi actors. The experiment is not new, but it stands a testimony to how the multiplex culture is allowing filmmakers to try new ways of attracting youth, say distributors. "Finding Fanny", starring Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, is a satirical movie which revolves around a journey of five "odd balls".
Indian movie distributors are confident that the film's release Sep 12 will open the doors for more filmmakers to come out with new themes and fresh concepts for a "target audience". "The first look of 'Finding Fanny' is quite promising, and the script is looking really strong with dialogues in English. According to me, this movie will influence a large number of people," Delhi-based Sanjay Ghai of Mukta Arts, told IANS.

Tere Bin Laden - 2010

My friend suggested to me to watch it. Now I suggest that you should watch it. 

My friend's accidental discovery becomes my gem collection. I was not sure what I was going to get! But it grows on us. I loved the song Ullu Da Pattha. Music is from Shankar Ehsan Loy. Its catchy and gets more catchy after we watch the movie. A very good parody of the times, the situation. Kudos to those who made this movie.

The movie became hilarious for me from 48th minute. From then on the ludicrous efforts were like a mirror to what happened in real. After the 48th minute when I started laughing....yeah for me until that point the climax was building up and I was just watching...the subject was grim enough for me not to laugh about any of the content I saw. But 48th minute onwards as the denoument starts, I knew exactly where it was going. I was relaxed and I started laughing. As I was laughing I could only ask CBS Show writers in my mind ...come and watch this movie. All your shows would just get wrapped up in no time!!! :)) What a clarity about the subject for the writing team of the movie about American Dream, American Paranoia, American Honour and American Profit. Awesome. I read some articles and the facts were not belied by the movie, infact the facts were augments through creativity.

I will most remember Ted and Usman.

Usman: Sir, if Osama is in Pakistan, why are we bombing Afghanistan?

 And the way Ted replies..100 Billion cannot be spent in sipping coffee.

Ted dreaming of 25 Million and then screaming mad at Ali. 

Ted listening to Ali to save his face and has the Cease Fire done and we see the Usman imprisoned for life for being "The Man who KNEW TOO Much."

Incredible events, Wrong Turns, Ironic and Abject scenarios that stick in your mind.

It tells me....Ullu da patthas will exist. Solution is not in becoming the greater Ullu Da Pattha !!!!

Watched on New Year's eve. For me genre was "Romcom-Drama".
